We are only seeing clients who have to sign Land Title documents, or those who must see a lawyer because there is no other solution for them in their individual situation. Client communications are conducted through emails, telephone, or internet communication such as Skype or Facetime.
If a client must come to the office, staff making the appointment must check with the client about the usual risk factors (travel, temperature, feeling ill). Staff who feel ill must leave work or not come to work.
Clients and staff all maintain social distancing from each other.
Clients are asked to use hand sanitizer on entering the office and lawyers/staff are asked to use hand sanitizer (or wash hands thoroughly with soap) before and after meeting any clients.
Surfaces such as tables, chair arms, door handles, and the entry counter are sanitized several times a day and at minimum before and after any client visit, as are the couple of pens in a meeting room.
